the Ford homeThe Dr. James Ford Historic Home welcomes visitors Fridays from noon until 5 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am until 5pm.

The home offers a look at life in Wabash, Indiana in the 1870's with exhibits that share information on family life, Dr. Ford's participation in the Civil War, dining and etiquette, household tasks of the 1870's and historic preservation.

Please allow yourself for 1 to 1 1/2 hours to tour the home, garden, and carriage house. Docents are available for tours or you may explore the home on your own.

Admission fees are $3 for adult and $2 for children age 15 and under.
